Welcome to Mountain Sprouts Academy: Where Curiosity Grows at 9,712 Feet

Nestles in the heart of Copper Mountain, Mountain Sprouts Academy is more than a childcare center-it’s a living, breathing, community of young explorers, creative thinkers, and compassionate learners. We are proud to be a Reggio Emilia inspired program, rooted in respect for children, families, and the unique alpine environment that surrounds us.

At Mountain Sprouts, we believe that children are born curious, capable, and full of potential. Our approach is centered around the image of the child as strong, resourceful, and resilient. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our educators act as co-learners and collaborators, creating space for children to express themselves in one hundred languages - through art, movement, storytelling, science, construction, and play.

There’s no better backdrop for learning than the natural beauty of Copper Mountain. The changing seasons, abundant wildlife, and mountain terrain offer endless opportunities for sensory exploration, scientific inquiry, and imaginative play. Whether we’re following animal tracks in the snow or observing the aspen leaves change color, nature is our ever-present teacher.
