I have a bachelor’s degree in Child Development/Family Relations from the University of Maine and a MA in Early Childhood Education from CU Denver. I have 35 years of experience working with children infants to five years old. I grew up in Massachusetts and have been in Summit County for 30 years. My husband and I have three grown children and we spend our spare time skiing, hiking, and being together as a family. Working with young children brings immense joy and fulfillment to my life. Witnessing the growth and development of these young minds is a truly rewarding experience. Every day is a new adventure.

I have a bachelors in Elementary Education with a specialization in early childhood and I am Nationally Board Certified. I have thirty-four years of experience teaching kindergarten, first and second grades. I truly love working with children and I approach each child as an individual who I help to connect to the world around them. I value the human spirit and the development of the whole child – physical, social, emotional and cognitive. In my spare time, I enjoy skiing, mountain biking and paddle boarding. I look forward to meeting your family and to share the joy of learning.

My name is Lizz Holm and I am excited to start the adventure at Mountain Sprouts. I grew up in southwest Washington state and received my BA from Western Washington University in English Literature. My husband, twin daughters, and I moved to Colorado in 2002 and I started to work in Early Childhood Education when our third daughter was in preschool. Over the years I have worked in a couple of different programs and attained my MA in Early Childhood Education at CU Denver in May 2023. I love to read, cook/bake, snowboard and hike with my (now) grown up daughters and husband. Watching children learn and grow is the best part of my life.

Ms. JoJo was born in Boulder Colorado, but spent most of her childhood growing up in Bettendorf, Iowa. She has a diverse background in childcare and has spent time as a babysitter, nanny, preschool teacher, tutor, ski instructor, and as an English specialist in Spain. In her free time, she loves to travel, ski, and enjoy the wonderful music scene that Colorado has to offer. She is most looking forward to dance time with her class and seeing all the babies move and groove together!

Ms. Alyssa was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. Her mother owns a home child care center and that is where her experience and love for working with children started. Since then Ms. Alyssa has worked with children ages newborn - 18 years and children who have special needs. When Ms. Alyssa isn’t working, she spends her time hiking, camping, e-biking, and baking.

Ms. Hannah also was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and recently moved to Colorado. She is passionate about childcare and education. She has been working with children outside of centers throughout her life. Ms. Hannah likes to go ice fishing, horseback riding and hiking.

Ms. Chrissy has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has experience working with children of all ages in several different settings. Back in 2019 Ms. Chrissy was an assistant teacher at a Montessori school in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she worked with students in the First through Third grade age range. Most recently she was working with students from ages four to 13 in a behavioral management setting. The goal of this work was to help each child learn how to regulate their emotions, work with others, and express themselves in a healthy manner. Ms. Chrissy is so excited to work with your children at Mountain Sprouts Academy.

Ms. Danielle is a big kid at heart and enjoys being around children. She has experience working as an assistant teacher in a kindergarten classroom, babysitting, and facilitating an after school Art program. Through these experiences she learned how fulfilling it was to be learning alongside kids, helping them discover their potential and ways to express themselves. She is very excited to welcome your kids into this new environment.

Hi there, I'm Hannah Potts and I am stoked to be with the 4's here at Mountain Sprouts! I'm originally from Mississippi but grew up in North Texas before moving to Colorado after college. I have a journalism degree from the University of North Texas with a minor in Psychology. Prior to joining Mountain Sprouts, I taught middle school at Cherry Creek Schools in Denver and spent the summers outside with kiddos at Avid4Adventure. When I'm not working, I love to snowboard, hike, camp, do yoga and bake! I am beyond excited to be in a classroom at Copper Mountain and cannot wait to share my love for the nature and the outdoors with our class.

Mr. Marvin grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and moved to Colorado three years ago. I studied HVAC at Louisiana Tech and have been working in restaurants for last 15 years. I have three children ages 12, 6, and 2 and love to be outside, especially fishing. I am excited to be with the staff and families at Mountain Sprouts Academy.
